What Causes Tingling And Numbness In My Fingers And Toes?

I am 70 years old, I am experiencing tingling and numbness in my hands and feet, predominately in my fingers and toes. I am also experiencing swelling in my toes. I am a type 2 diabetic under a doctors care. How may I reduce or eliminate these sensations?

HB1Ac

Periphral neuropathy is common in uncontrolled diabetis so numbness and tingling of feet soles occurs
More over ischemic heart diseasis is also likely that cause swelling of the feets
So i would give him advise redarding diet, good excercise, stop smoking
And put him on antidiabetic like insulin, for neuropathy vit b12 is effective
It s better to consult your endocrinologist.
