What Causes Tingling And Burning Sensations On Skin?

My daughter, age 24, is experiencing tingling and burning sensations of the skin (no rash) on various parts of her body. She told me that it can be on her legs, her arms, and today it spread to her neck. When this happens she feels like her temperature rises (she feels warm). This sensation can last 15-20 mins. She has been experiencing these symptoms for some time, but they are increasing in frequency. She also notices this more after a long day at work.
