What Causes Tightness In The Chest After Taking Symbicort?

Hi my wife is 42 years old. She is on bilocor 10mg high blood tablet. It surpresses the heart beats.it work but because of the beta blocker it also closes her chest after a while. She went for tests and according to them she don t have ashma but I think she has.they also gave her symbicord and now beclate..she still experience tight chest. Her high blood is fine but everytime the chest closes.what do u advise?she is one of those rare cases which can t use Generic tablets..

Hello,

Bilocar (Bisoprolol) may can cause bronchial spasms in few patients. you may take alternate anti hypertensive medication in case of Bisoprolol usage. Symbicort may not cause chest discomfort unless you're allergic to it. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day.
