What Causes Tightness Around The Thighs?

It feels lke someone has a belt around me tights get it more and more. This started about 4 years ago, it will come and go and can last from several hours to a few minutes. It will then feel tender to the touch and hurt for a few days. When it is happening I sweat horribly and feel like I can t breath. Sometimes I will go months with not experiencing this, then it may happen several times a week. My Dr. has sent me to a cardiologist I had a heart Cath everything was okay. I have had my gall bladder removed.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* According to my surgical experience, there sounds to be a psychologic manifestation of the non-specific condition of the thigh.

As if there was a significant pathology, it will not disappear for months together.

* However, to take out any doubts, I recommend to opt for ultrasound and MRI of the thigh.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
