What Causes Tightness And Pain In Penis Of A Diabetic Patient?

ocaisionally my penace recedes to about 1 inch , gets extremely hard (as if the cells were packing in very tighly) and this causes PAIN. I am thinking its like all the blood leaves and the soft tissue just collapses in on itself 63 overweight by 40 pounds Type 2 diabetes otherwise in good health

Hi,

This might indicate a disturbance to blood flow there. Usually here, we expect penis to be erect and painful (priapism) rather than receding. Sometimes penis can recede hard when exposed to cold, but this should not cause pain. Kindly discuss with a surgeon / urologist for evaluation as this is painful.
