My husband gets an on & off again tightness of the throat, like a lump in the throat. He visited an ENT specialist, who looked down his throat and could see nothing. The ENT said it was stress, however the tightness is very irratic, not causing pain just annoying. This morning he tried not to talk, giving the vocal cords a rest, as soon as he got up this morning, after having a long rest in bed, the lump feeling was back.
