Hello Mrs. Nair,
Irritability of the uterus during this stage of pregnancy can occur due to several factors, but, the apparently most relevant in your daughter's case seems to be the bus journey she is making everyday. She needs to take adequate rest, two hours in the day and eight hours in the night, preferably in the left lateral position. Any infections of the vagina and urinary infections are to be taken care of early. Abstinence is advised to avoid stress. Uterine muscle relaxants, regular follow up and making the daily transit more comfortable are needed. Hope this helps.
