I am experiencing a throbbing pain from deep within my left nostril. It throbs about once every 30-45 second and last for two or 3. It is a similar feeling to what you experience right before sneezing, but more uncomfortable. It has been accompanied by an extremely runny nose. Although I suffer from regular allergies, I do not experience runny noses like this except at the start of spring. It has not been responding to increased allergy medication (I take Loratadine = Claratin).
Hi, It seems that there might be having irritation and soreness of nasal mucosa due to bacterial infection leading to small wound or cut giving rise throbbing pain in the nostril. Apply antibiotic cream locally. Go for one course of antibiotic for 3 days. Continue with anti allergic medicine. Ok and take care.
