What Causes Throbbing Pain And Heaviness In Legs?

Four weeks ago the pain started. Firstly it was swollen ankles which was resolved by elevation, then the pain came up to my calfs now into my thighs. I have tingling in both feet and my legs throb and feel heavy. The pain is constant 24/7. I ve had a Doppler scan showing no blood clots plus bloods tests showing no infection, arthritis or high white cell count

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Swelling starting in feet reaching up to the calves and then thighs can be due to kidney disease.
All other causes of swelling of feet have been ruled out.
Thus, I suggest you to get an urine examination for proteins and sugar along with routine microscopy.
In case there is increase in proteins in urine there is possibility of kidney disease.
In that case you need tom consult your physician, a nephrologist preferably for assessment of kidney functions.
If indicated, kidney biopsy may also be required for further work up.
