What Causes Throat Pain In A Smoker?
Hello, I was a smoker for 8 years and quit a year ago. I smoked a few cigarettes last week and about 4 in quick succession two days ago. Ever since then, my throat has hurt. Could this be throat cancer? I am a 28 year old female. I have drank for the past 10 years pretty heavily as well.

Read your query throat pain can be due to infection in throat . It can be due to strep throat dont be worried so much I will suggest you to consult ENT Surgeon for examination of throat to evaluate proper diagnosis .
Inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 - 3 times a day and you can take medicine like Allegra by consulting with local doctor .
