Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from
Reflux Esophagitis secondary to acid reflux and due to injury to the lining of esophagus and throat with acid there is inflammation, swelling and pain during swallowing and feeling of closing up of throat..
The acid reflux is more at night due to lying posture that eases the flow of acid upwards..
You will have to start taking
Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole or
Pantoprazole..
Take antacids like
Calcium carbonate or
Milk of Magnesia..
Avoid spicy and heavy meals..
Take a light diet and drink plenty of water..
Take small frequent meals every 2 hours..
Do moderate workout..
Take short walk after meals..
In case if you are obese try to loose weight..
Sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet and recline in left lateral position..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
