What Causes Thinning Of Hair While On Soriatane?
I had to start taking Soriatane, 25 mg every other day (Acetretin) about six months ago for psoriasis. After about 4 months on the medication, my hair started thinning quite badly. I finally stopped taking it three weeks ago, but my hair continues to thin at an alarming rate. Can I expect this to stop? If so, when? Will my hair regrow if I don t take the drug anymore? Marna

I really appreciate your concern, if the hair fall is the main concern then it may not be due to medicines but it could be due to something else hormone changes could be the cause, and it can be given try with "Minoxidile 5%" topical solution hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
