Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I may have a torn inner thigh muscle/aggravated nerve along both sides of my inner thighs. I have an exceptional high tolerance of pain & I can barely lift either leg to walk. came on suddenly and could barely stand Thursday night after crawling under bushes to prune. didn t feel a tear or precise moment of injury, but just couldn t stand on it or barely walked. At 58, I ran a marathon without adequate training 3weeeks ago & mowed over 3 days (my mower had to be used without front wheels allowed to touch the ground) must have aggravated the R pulled hamstring form Mile2 of 26.2/ feels as though I have had surgery or hip replacement...no stability to stand or moving I can barely pick up either leg.
Your pain seem to be related to the torn muscle. I suggest using painkillers such s Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day. I also suggest using a daily magnesium supplement. I recommend to avoid activities that can trigger pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
