What Causes The Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Difficulty During Bowel Movement?
Good morning. I had a rather sore lower left quadrant on Saturday & woke up yesterday in considerable pain. I went to an urgent care clinic & was told that my urine was normal so there was nothing else that they could do. This morning I had a difficult bowel movement with a hard black nodule in it about the size of a large pea.

I really appreciate your concern, the abdomen pain could be due to colic and it may because of infection some time transient infection may not need any treatment but it is the self limiting condition, so better to wait for some time and it will be okay and if symptoms persist then on tentative basis Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day can be tried for five days, hope this information helps.
