What Causes The Inability To Close The Eye Post Cervical Discectomy Surgery?

I had anterior cervical diceptomy c3-4 and c 4-5 since my surgery my left eye eyelid is half way closed and is swallow I have hard time to see I went to see an eye doctor and he believe is a nerve that was touch during the surgery so since my surgery 3 weeks ago after using prescription eyes drop etc my eyelid still the same please advise me and what really happens to me during my surgery . And also if it is something that. An be fix I know the eye doctor told me to be patience because it going to take some time for the nerve to regenerate but if it doesn t happen is any way that can be fix???? Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, such symptom of eye may not be due to surgery but this could be due to cerebral pathology and to rule out this better to get done the CT of brain, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
