What Causes The Feeling Of Obstruction In Throat Along With Burps?

Recently, after I take several small daily pills it feels like something gets stuck in my throat. Drinking water doesn t clear it and just swallowing doesn t clear it. I also have an acid stomach and am burping. I had no problem after eating dinner...just after I take these pills.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ng of obstruction in throat along with burps which is leading to sore throat due to bacterial or viral infection. It is leading to upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to gastroesophageal reflux disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day. Take ibuprofen one tablet twice daily. Milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric taken at bedtime for can be relieving as it has antimicrobial properties. You should avoid spicy food. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat. Throat lozenges one every 4 hours is helpful. Drink lukewarm water throughout the day as it can provide relief.
