Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 44 year old female and my eye color had always been a deep dark solid brown until about eight years ago and now my eye color has changed to a greenish color with just a small ring of the original dark brown around my pupils. Can you please tell me how or why this happens... Thank you very much ..... Marti Ford
The choroid plexus and iris give the color. The change is color may be due to some pigmentation problems. Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
A detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
