I have a 10 year old that is refusing to go to bed by himself, or in his own room for that matter for about the past 6 months. My husband and I are so tired of this scene every single night. There is nothing in the house that would scare him. He is perfectly fine if he is in our bed and falls asleep in minutes. Is this common? Do you see this often with only-child families? I'm at my wits end and ready to pull my hair out.
