Hello, Clitoris commonly gets swollen and enlarged on sexual arousal, after orgasm the blood flow returns to normal and the clitoris size reduces to its normal size. In case no orgasm is reached, the clitoris may remain aroused and swollen, it may take hours or days to shrink to its normal size, during this time it may rub against the clothing, getting hurt it may cause pain and discomfort. Other medical condition that causes swollen clitoris is vulvitis, due to use of harsh chemicals, douching, STD infection, etc. Hormonal imbalance and taking of anabolic steroids may also cause such symptoms.
