What Causes Swollen Purple Colored Nose With Weight Loss?
My son is 55 yrs old, a heavy beer drinker for nearly 40 yrs. His nose appears swollen and purplish. He worker 31 yrs in a job using ink doing printing. He also appears to have lost weight but does NOT discuss things with me. Any idea what might be going on and how I could help?? Thank you in advance for any info.

Swollen and purple colour nose may called rhinophyma.
It's caused by a common skin condition called rosacea. If the rosacea is not properly treated or controlled, within a few years the nose can grow and become bulbous. This is the condition rhinophyma.
