What Causes Swollen Legs And Knot On Calf ?
hello, my son is 15 about 6 3, 275 lbs. picked him up today and noticed his leg was swollen very badly. upon asking what happened was told the following, while in the pool he was playing around with his siblings and heard a pop . now his leg is swollen and there is a knot on the back of his calf above the ankle. what did he do and how bad is it.

Your son might have pulling of calf muscles and muscles gone into spasm.
Give rest to the part,
Take analgesic with muscle relaxant.
Do hot fomentation.
