What Causes Swollen Legs And Fatigue While Suffering From Fatty Liver?

Hi, My husband has 2.4cm in groin lymph nodes, fatty liver and enlarged spleen. Dr said ldh test was high. Ordered a pet scan. Does this mean more than likely cancer? He has swollen legs, extreme fatigue, muscle mass loss/weak, swollen hands-(numbness tingling sensitive), and vomiting with no nausea 1-3 times week. He has lost weight since being on lasiks and not drinking sodas or energy drinks-only water. He only had a 100 degree fever one day and no night sweats or pain in the abdomen. He has also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and on synthroid but levels still are off. All these symptoms have been since June/July Also has vitiligo for app year.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like hypoalbuminemia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
