What Causes Swollen Gums And Sore Throat After Wisdom Tooth Extraction?

Hello. I had my wisdom teeth removed 3 weeks ago. I was in horrible pain the first week and was prescribed antibiotics based on the pain and oozing mainly on my left side. It helped ovee the second week. By the third week I returned to work with the doctors okay. By Wednesday I noticed oozing from my right side and called the doctor. I was placed on another regiment of antibiotics. Howeve when I woke up the next morning I noticed the swelling increased. By Friday my throat was very sore and I could barely talk. I called the doctor and he scheduled me on Monday for the site to be cleaned out. Since Friday my throat is still sore and now I have phlem in my chest and sinesus. Am I in danger at this point or will the clean out be sufficient to clear the issues in my extraction site, chest, and sinuses?
