What Causes Swollen Face After A Brain Surgery?

My Brother had a Stroke in 2012, Had bleeding in brain that was fixed, take med. I noticed that on Both sides of His tempo lumps never seen that before, I did ask my Brother do they hurt, No. He did not even know it was there.. Face is swallowing since surgery Dr. said that s ok..

After any surgery there is swelling of the surrounding areas due to inflammation which may take time to come down depending on the site and the local reaction to the surgery.
