What Causes Swollen Earlobe?

My left earlobe is swollen and red and it itches allot from time to time. Their is allso this small dot on it that when I push on it, it hurts and kind of feels sore or something. Could it be irritated or is it a bug bite or just an allergic reaction?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of red and swollen ear lobe, also has a tender spot on it.
The most probable diagnosis as you have correctly mentioned is some sort of insect bite or so.
Get a proper dose of an antihistamine and oral steroids as this site is notorious for development of complications like seroma formation and so on.
