What Causes Swelling On One Side Of Throat After Having Amoxicillin And Clavulanate?

Took my first pill of this stuff and one side of the back of my throat swelled up and started hurting much more the next morning I stop taking it waited a few more hours till I knew it wore off swelling went down now back to were I was befour I took it. Should I take smaller dosage or just not take anymore at all ? sign.. 875mg amox-clav

You may be allergic to any ingredient.
May be suffering from enlarged tonsil on one side
Take Ibuprofen for pain & swelling.
Take Anti allergic Benadryl
Hot saline gargles twice a day..
Discuss with your doctor.
