What Causes Swelling Of Lower Lip And Left Side Face?
My lower lip and the left side of my face are swollen nd the lip is very painful And sensitive following an EDG procedure with the stretching of my asophagus. What is happening, infection? I call the GI doctor s office and they said use ice And anti inflamitories, no improvement.

Hello, soft tissue of the lip is loose and so edema here leads to pain and swelling...It appears that edema occured as a result of physical trauma of the procedure..Yes, u may use ice , also take an antihistamine tab Atarax 25 mg twice daily for 3 days.
