What Causes Swelling Of Elbow?

My elbow is all swollen, almost in a giant lump, and has a slight rash on the top, not like mrsa but like a topical rash. I use iv drugs, and I was wondering if it will just go away if I stop or do I need antibiotics or something. It s more the redness rash that scares me than the swelling, it s almost like a red bruise
