What Causes Swelling In The Vocal Cords?
Hi I am suffering from strain while speaking since last 2 months.. took antibiotics for 10 days as doctor said there s swelling in vocal cords but it didn t help..then I took advice from another doctor and he prescribed steam inhalation and montair fx for 10 days... still after I am suffering same.. there s pain in throat too and I am afraid of speaking... please help...

Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
The symptoms are consistent with benign nodules.
Nothing much to worry and you will improve with a steroid.
