Hello! I recently injected into my left foot along the side running along towards my big toe. It was a normal hit as before but this time hurt a little towards the end. It wasn t a miss as it still filled and no lump appeared. The next day however my foot had blown up and I cannot walk onit. It is very painful and hurts even when I stretch my legs. PlEase explain as I am too embarrassed to go to AE or visit my doctor. Thank you,
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having injury to your left foot . Now foot is blown up and very painful and hurt even when you stretch your leg. I think you should visit a doctor but you are not willing so. It seem to be compartment syndrome of foot. Its treatment is rest, elevation of foot over pillow, active mobilization of toes and analgesics such ibuprofen. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
