What Causes Swelling In The Neck Below The Right Ear?

My husband has had a slight swelling in his neck just below his right ear which started on Tuesday with a sudden pain. It was only sore some of the time but since sneezing It was like a shooting pain and he said it felt like a lump moved. It is now sore all the time and tender to the touch.

It may be swollen lymph node due to ear infection or throat infection but also it may 've lipoma or fibroma. In every case you should see doctor and do ultrasound with needle biopsy if necessary.
