What Causes Swelling In The Knees Along With Dull Headache?

I have swelling in my knees down to my feet. My neck is swore. It hurts to turn left or right. Have a dull headache and my left eye is ticking. I have discharge every time I use the restroom that is not normal. It looks like somebody blew their nose in a napkin, but it is clear in color. I m exhausted no matter how hours of sleep I get. Been making better eating choices for the past 3 months and have been more activate but I am gaining weight vs. losing weight. This is not normal.

Hi,

You must see a doctor in order to perform the proper studies to determine why you are gaining weight and why you seem to be retaining fluid. There could problems either with congestion in the heart, liver, or kidneys.

You could also have problems with your thyroid or other endocrine glands resulting in an imbalance of hormones. You also could be taking medication that could cause swelling and fluid retention.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dariush Saghafi,
