What Causes Swelling In The Foot Post A Fracture?

Hello. About 2 months ago I broke my the bone connecting my big toe to my foot and was put in a boot for a month all up. Recently the other side of my foot has swelled up and I starting get out bruise I was wondering wether I should go see a doctor and get an xray or if it s normal following my recent injury in my foot

Yes, you should consult your orthopedician for the swelling on foot.

Post fracture, it is not common to see swelling, however, tendon sprain or muscle strain should be ruled out.
