What Causes Swelling In The Feet And Ankles After Chemotherapy?

Hi I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2016. In August I had a mastectomy of my left breast and went through chemotherapy and finished by therapy in Decemeber of 2016. I have been told that I am cured and also had my port removed in April. My question is, are there any physical reactions after chemo has been completed..what other conditions can result after chemo. I have been suffering from swelling in my feet and ankles more so than usual...my left upper arm Is bigger than my left and why after having the drain tubes removed, one area still is leaking. I have to constantly wear a bandage in that area because its where my bra line is and if I don t wear a bandage then it gets really irritated and will begin to bleed. My breast surgeon says that the fluid and bloody goop is just the body trying to heal. But is has been 7 months now and that hole where last drain was removed has not healed. I was told that my triglycerides increased to over 200 but was caused by the chemo,,it has since dropped down to normal range since chemo has stopped. Plus today I had to go for a venous ultrasound off both my legs because of swelling, redness and soreness above my ankles..are any of these things after-chemo reactions?? I can t seem to get any kind of answer. I hope you can help. Thank you for your time and expertise.... it is greatly appreciated. Christine Piedra, Stuart, FL.
