What Causes Swelling In The Ankles After Pacemaker Implantation?

Ankle swelling after pacemaker implantation. No swelling of any kind before that. Treating doctor says: do no worry just use compression stocks. Device checking is done by technician, doctor even cares to check report; suspicion is: doctor might know how to place device but ignorant about settings ; this b/c health got worse after surgery, heart valves sounds also appeared; doctor says too bad that new illness condition related to valve failure is just developing because of aging reason, just a bad coincidence. Device implanted b/c one time episode of heart block after high 1000 mg dose Ranexa ingestion after heart exertion. Concern is that absent of chronic symptoms of conduction did not justify permanent pacemaker but temporal would have solved problem. Lost of confidence in physican perhaps more interested in charging the insurer than studying problem!!!!!!
