General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Swollen legs and stiff and sore could be related to other meds you might be taking (like amlodipine or nifedipine, or even statins to lower blood cholesterol).

Another possibility is the function of the liver/kidney and heart. So, you need to get them checked through blood tests respectively and scan studies.

Micardis contains olmesartan the same as olmetec does. So, that is not the cause of your leg symptoms.

Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
