Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain pain in tooth along with swelling and pain in gums can occur due to deep infection in tooth leading to spread of infection from the tooth to the area below the root apex via root canals causing formation of pus which accumulates into soft tissues causing swelling..

The entire sequence of infection is caused by Bacteria..

The other symptoms which you explained about runny and stuffy nose with cough and cold are symptoms of infection caused by Viruses..

Therefore both are of different origin and not related and needs to be treated differently..

For pain in tooth treatment of tooth by either root canal treatment or extraction depending upon the condition of tooth along with antibiotics and painkillers can relieve..

Whereas for cough and cold decongestants like Sinarest and inhalation of steam with few drops of eucalyptus oil can relieve..
Throat lozenges can also be relieving..

Hope you get well soon..

Thanks and regards..
