Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a puffy area on the back of my left hand (I am right handed). It has been there for about a year. It never gets any worse, but it hurts most of the time. It has a burning feeling and then sometimes a sharp pain. The swelling is just above the wrist line and in the middle of the back of my hand. I have tried splints, pain relieving cremes, heat and cold, but nothing seems to help. What are some possible causes for this and do you have any suggestions for eliminating the pain? Thank you for your consideration.
Hello Dear I understood your query deeply . @ It is definitely Ganglion of the wrist . @ Nothing works over it , Surgical excision is the only option to get it out with possibility of recurrence in some cases . Hope this will definitely help you. Feel free to ask any further health related issue. Thanks for using Health care magic . Regards dear.
