What Causes Swelling At The Spot Of Injury?

I was hit by a baseball on my shin 10 years ago. I had it xrayed and it was not fractured, just a bone bruise. Now 10 years later, my injured spot is swelling and slightly reddish in color. No pain though, just swelling. Should I see a doctor and what could this be?

I do not think it can be related to such old injuries. I would suggest you to get a repeat x ray to see if there is any bone related issue s there. If not then I would recommend you to do hot water fomentation and compression bandage and do not walk or stand for long term. If this pain persist even after all these measures then I would suggest you to get MRI of the leg to see if there is any soft tissue problem is associated with it,
