What Causes Swelling And Soreness On The Left Knee?

I had my left knee replaced in April. Yesterday, my left calf became extremely sore and swollen. There is no bruise. Ice did not help. The swelling lessened overnight, but as I started walking today, the swelling increased and it continues to be painful. I have taken 2 325 milligram aspirin. Are blood clots still a possibility since the April surgery Should I go to Urgent Care or contact my surgeon on Monday?
