What Causes Swelling And Pain In Vagina?

Hello im a 19 year old teenage female and not sexually active and has only masturbated once. I had a vaginal absces about 4 months ago that caused a great deal of swelling and pain that resulted in me just doing treatment with a hot rag the abcess and pain eventually went away but the swelling didnt it looks disgusting to the point my boyfriend wont even touch me sexually HELP i dont know what it is this is far past vaginal sensitivity

As such vaginal infection may occur due to 2 reasons mainly. one is called STD(sexually transmitted diseases) and second is PID (pelvic inflammatory diseases). here in ur case it may be PID as u are not sexually active at present. The causes for PID is mainly due to unhygienic practices for pelvic reason. e.g. touching pelvic region with infected hand, not maintain hygine after micturation/ after or during mensis period. so in future u should maintain hygine of pelvic region and at present u should consult gynec dr. for antibiotics for absess,,,,,
