What Causes Swelling And Itchy Red Spots On The Feet And Hands?
Hi my name is Jay im a 34 year old female and six months ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I was also told that I m severely anemic. I have two questions one why would I continuously have swelling itchy red spots on my feet and hands and number two is it normal to bleed blood clots the size of half dollars or bigger every time I go to the bathroom I use about 65 tampons and 7 days is that normal? Please help me. Im very scared. Thank you
As per my surgical experience, the issue of swelling and itchy red spots on hands and feet with the passing of blood clots (big) when using the bathroom is not normal.
This suggests a defect in coagulation cascade via immune-mediated mechanics, deficiency of vitamin K or else.
The bleeding tendency has to be evaluated thoroughly with your consultant for the best possible management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
