Can you tell me if this is normal or something I should be concerned about? My son got circumcised at 2 days old. We were told to put gauze and jelly on it before the new diaper. At 8 days old his pedi said we didn t have to do that anymore because it had healed nicely. Yesterday at 18 days old he had a bowel movement and had gotten some on it, so I wiped it off with a huggies baby wipe. Now today right where the tip and the shaft meet it looks swollen, like a swollen ring around that part of his penis. 11 days ago his pedi said it was healed, and so I thought after it is healed you could use regular baby wipes to clean it.. I hope I didn t do wrong by doing so and using one. Also I just gave him a bath and the tip looks purple compared the pinkish skin color it was before. From his last diaper change to his bath it looks like the tip changed color.. Is this all normal?
