What Causes Swelling And Discoloration In Knee Post An Injury?

i injured my leg two and one half weeks ago. lots of swelling in knee. and purple discoloration. went to orthapedic dr had mri done. no tore acl. since i have lots of discoloration in foot and leg. orthapedic doctor said very deep bruise but foot is purple leg very warm to touch lots of itching

Since your MRI gives a normal report I'd agree with your orthopedist. It's probably a simple bruise and it's bound to come down in a few days.
I'd recommend you to take the following treatment course
Tab. Serratid 10mg twice daily for five days
Tab. Voveran 50 twice daily for five days
Tab. Levocet 10mg twice daily for five days
