What Causes Swelling And Burning Sensation In The Ankles?

I can get 6 to 10 lbs in a few hours. My ankles keep swelling and burning, the veins are poking out and blue. Some bruising. I now have little broken veins on the sides of my feet and now larger veins going up my from my feet past my ankles. I have shooting burning sensatiions and it hurts to walk and stand. There is throbbing and burning during the night and it keeps me awake.

You may be having DVT. You should properly get checked with a color Doppler test. Go to a surgeon to get yourself properly assessed
