Thank you! I have had this problem before but had this happen the last two days. my lower part of my fingers close to my hand begin to swell and get very tight. Then there seems to be a blood vessel that must rupture, relieving the tightness and the swelling goes down, but leaves my finger and down into my hand with a purple bruise. Not sure if I should go to see the doctor, after it happens so they can see the bruise like outcome so they don t think I am crazy. I am in excellent health for over fifty and get plenty of exercise so not sure just what to do?
