What Causes Sweating In The Neck Area While Sleeping?

Hello, I am having an issue where I sweat around my neck when I am sleep. I don t know what the issue is, it doesn t happen all the time just sometimes. I went to the doctor to get my well women and all my lab work came back find. So, I was wondering what else can it be?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have sweating in the neck area while sleeping . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hormonal changes , neuropathy , endocrine disorder , medicine like anti-depressants , aspirin, acetaminophen, niacin and infection .There are other conditions also like myelfibrosis , brucellosis , pyogenic abscess and syringomyelia . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order complete blood profile test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may ask about medicine you taking currently . Doctor may refer you to endocrinologist or neurologist . For now take proper healthy diet including fruits and green vegetables , drink plenty of water and do light exercise .
