Hi,

Such events in children are rare. They may arise as a result of some form of mental stress, lack of confidence and poor sleep quality. Please tell him to reduce the screen time if high. Other rare causes for such events may be vitamin deficiency, absence epileptic fits and transient poor blood supply to the brain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhishek Juneja, Neurologist
