Is a recent aversion to particularly sweet smells (laundry products, perfumes on others) and almost a sense of impending nausea ever an indicator of any type of cancer. My sense of smell is generally less sensitive as I have aged. I have had a melanoma.
Hi. Sudden rise in sense of smell can be due to the clearing of the mucus/mass/ edema over the nerve endings of the nerve called as olfactory nose which is present in the top art of the nose. It is in no way related to any cancer including melanoma, which you had in the past.
In fact the sense of small will be negatively affected by the cancer.
