HI welcome to HCM.
MVP/mitral valve prolapse can lead to occasional symptoms like palpitations and low blood pressure. These symptoms can be precipitated by moderatly exertional activities like taking a shower.Drugs like inotropes and beta blockers can be useful to alleviate the symptoms.Definitive management consists of mitral valve repair through open heart technique.Valve replacement can also offer excellent outcomes.Consult your cardiologist for further help.
Thank you
